The PHCC Participates in The Seventh Qatar International Exhibition for Universities 2016-2017



The PHCC pavilion has participated within the activities of the seventh Qatar International Exhibition, under the slogan "joined the government scholarship program.. And be part of the health future of Qatar. “, in Qatar International Exhibition Centre, Qatar Foundation (QF). The exhibition aims at familiarizing high school students and graduate students with the educational opportunities within the State of Qatar and scholarship abroad opportunities.

Dr. zulaikha  Al Wahedi -Executive Director of  workforce development and training- has said that the PHCC participation in the exhibition comes under the  eagerness to attract national cadres, commensurate with the needs and job vacancies , scholarship opportunities, and  build bridges of cooperation with various educational institutions in the country.

Al Wahedi has added that PHCC Pavilion aims at enhancing the health education and its advantages, by bringing them with training and employment organization officials and allows them to ask questions and queries related to  scholarship programs, which provided by the Corporation, it also enable them to identify the conditions and requirements of acceptance and the best ways to apply for it.


Mrs. Laila Al Jasmi- Assistant  of Executive Director of  workforce development and training has said that the PHCC and during its participation  has presented the prepared plans and programs, in order to attract Qatari cadres in different functions in the areas of human medicine, , Community Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine Pediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Radiology, Dermatology, as well as the area of dental specialty treating roots and nerves of the teeth, pediatric dentistry, and the field of nursing, pharmacy and medical assistance: Medical Laboratory Science, and rays Medical Laboratory Science, rays, Science, Physiotherapy, clinical psychology, nutrition and food science, and health information systems.

Al Jasmi has added that the Corporation has presented through its pavilion a training opportunities, as well as internal and external scholarship opportunities, in coordination with the Ministry of Administrative Development and Social Affairs, in order to encourage students to complete their studies and keep abreast of development and progress, in addition to identify the Corporation key tasks and services.

The exhibition, which organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education from 17th to 19th of this October, is an opportunity for students to enroll in higher education institutions on the list of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in addition to the participation of many governmental bodies and ministries that have the available scholarship programs.
