                    PHCC launches the General Medicine Clinic, at the Headquarter of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (Qatar, 2022

 

As part of its quest to promote individual and community health, and contribute to strengthen the preparatory efforts for the World Cup 2022, the PHCC has inaugurated the general medicine clinic at the Headquarter of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (Qatar, 2022) in Al Beda’a tower, Al Dafna. The Clinic is providing the general medicine services for the committee employees, and will receive the employees of other government companies and agencies that existing in the building. The clinic will receive also the emergency cases in Al Beda’a tower, and transferring them according to their health cases, where the PHCC is providing a medical and nursing staff for the provision of health services.

Dr. Samya Al Abdulla, Executive Director of Operation Department at PHCC, expressed her happiness about this achievement of opining the general medicine clinic, and she said that this step comes as a result of our belief in the role of comprehensive primary healthcare, which reflects on all the sectors of the country, also it emphasize the important role played by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (Qatar, 2022).

Al Abdull has added, that the PHCC, and through focusing on community partnership, is keen to strengthen partnership frameworks with all government agencies and private institutions, for the benefits of Qatari society, where the National Primary health care strategy states on providing  the best primary healthcare services for citizens and residents of Qatar
